Terms of Service

Welcome to Astrolya. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Astrolya mobile application ("the App"), operated by Astrolya.in ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using Astrolya, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account and use Astrolya. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Nature of Our Services — Please Read Carefully

Astrolya provides Vedic astrology-based predictions, horoscopes, birth chart (Kundli) analysis, palm and face readings, tarot readings, numerology, remedies, and related content, generated through a combination of traditional astrological calculation methods and AI-generated interpretation.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of any prediction, and outcomes described in readings, reports, or chat sessions are not guaranteed to occur.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it.
• You agree to provide accurate birth details (date, time, and place of birth) — inaccurate details will result in inaccurate chart calculations, which is not something we can be responsible for.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior toward astrologers or other users, or attempt to defraud the payment system.

4. Payments, Wallet, and Refunds

• Astrolya operates on a wallet-based system: you add funds to your in-app wallet via Google Play Billing, which is then used for chat/call sessions, report unlocks, and other paid features, priced as shown in the app at the time of purchase.
• Certain features (such as Palm/Face Reading unlocks) may be offered as one-time purchases through Google Play Billing.
• All payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details.
• Refunds: Wallet recharges and purchased content are generally non-refundable once a paid feature has been used or unlocked, except where required by applicable law or Google Play's own refund policies. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@astrolya.in or use Google Play's refund request process.
• Promotional bonus credits (e.g., "100% cashback" wallet bonuses) have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion for future recharges.

5. AstroMall and Third-Party Products

AstroMall allows you to browse and purchase spiritual products (gemstones, Rudraksha, puja items, idols, and similar) from third-party partner retailers (including but not limited to Rudra Centre, DevMarg, Divya Mandir, Pooja Essentials, and Giri). When you complete a purchase through AstroMall:

• You are purchasing directly from that third-party retailer, under their own terms, pricing, shipping, and return policies.
• Astrolya may receive a referral commission from these partners but is not the seller, is not responsible for product quality, shipping, or fulfillment, and is not a party to that transaction.

6. AI-Generated Content

Some content in Astrolya (including chat replies, report content, and remedy guidance) is generated using AI language models, grounded in your real birth chart data. While we design this content to be specific and personalized rather than generic, AI-generated content:

• May occasionally be inaccurate or inconsistent.
• Should be read as guidance in the Vedic astrology tradition, not as fact or professional advice.
• Is never a substitute for a licensed professional's advice (medical, legal, financial, or psychological).

7. Palm and Face Reading Features

By using the Palm or Face Reading features, you consent to submitting a photo of your palm or face for the purpose of generating that specific reading, as described in our Privacy Policy. This feature is for entertainment and traditional-guidance purposes and is not a scientific, medical, or diagnostic tool of any kind.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse astrologers or other users through chat or call features.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the app's normal operation or payment systems.
• Impersonate another person or provide false birth/identity information to deceive the service.
• Use automated systems (bots) to access or interact with the app.

Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and technology within Astrolya (excluding third-party content such as AstroMall product listings) is the property of Astrolya.in and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute app content without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Astrolya and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to decisions made based on astrological content, palm/face readings, or AI-generated guidance.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
